All applicants are advised to check the JEE Advanced 2023 eligibility standards to determine their eligibility before submitting their application. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, candidates must fulfil all prerequisites, which include age, number of attempts, qualifying exam results, and more.

The requirements for candidates’ eligibility have been loosened somewhat this year. The five requirements are as follows:

  • JEE Main 2023 Scores: Students from all categories must place in the top 2,50,000 in the JEE Main 2023 BE/B.Tech exam.
  • Attempts Per Year: A candidate may take JEE (Advanced) no more than twice in a two-year period.

  • Candidates who passed the JEE Advanced test once, in 2022 or 2023, should have been those who finished their class 12 education in 2022 or the equivalent. They also need to place in the top 2.5 lakh aspirants and win JEE Main 2023.

Toppers' JEE Advanced Preparation Strategies & Tips

Students who have been preparing for JEE from Class 9 or Class 11 need a lot of motivation because it is hard to study for so long with the same level of focus. These students can benefit from the following advice and techniques provided by JEE Advanced toppers:

  3. Be a Note of significant Points While Studying: If you find something significant throughout your study, be sure to make a note of it so you can refer back to it when you’re revising or to clear up any questions you may have.
  4. Study for Short Periods of Time: It’s best to work strategically and study for brief periods of time rather than studying for long hours. This would prevent tension and exhaustion and aid in a better understanding of the principles.
  5. Make the Most of Your Time and Prevent Stupid Mistakes – Candidates should not rush the JEE Advanced exam since this can result in blunders. Rather, read the paper through once and make a mental plan of attack before beginning to answer the questions.
