NEET UG 2026 Result has been declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official website on July 16. Candidates can check and download their scorecards by entering their application number and date of birth on the NTA website. Moreover, it has also released the final answer key, All India Rank (AIR), cut-off and toppers list.
Now, the next step for candidates will be NEET counselling 2026. The respective state authorities conduct 85% State Quota counselling, whereas the MCC conducts the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) counselling. The counselling date has not been announced yet; it is expected to be held in the last week of July or the first week of August. 32
How to Check NEET UG 2026 Result Online
Candidates who appeared for the examination can easily check and download their scorecards. Here are the steps given below:
- First, visit the NTA NEET website
- Click on the link that reads “NEET UG 2026 Result”
- Enter your Application number, Date of Birth, and security PIN on the login page
- Now, click on ‘Submit’
- The scorecard will appear on the screen, download it and take a printout for future reference and counselling.
It is important to note, keep the scorecard safe and take out multiple copies. As it will be required throughout the admission process.

NEET 2026 toppers Scorecard Details
Nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the NEET, and 11.21 lakh qualified for UG medical admission. Students named Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana topped the exam with 715 score.
According to the NTA score distribution, 19 out of the total qualified candidates obtained above 700 marks, and 138 candidates secured 690 marks or above. 1,492 candidates scored 650 marks or above, 10,160 scored 600 marks or above, and 90,780 scored 500 marks or above. NEET UG 2026 Category-wise Qualified Candidates
As per the NTA data, 2.91 lakh candidates from the General category qualified the NEET UG exam. 5.12 lakh candidates from OBC-NCL, 1.59 lakh from SC and nearly 63,700 from the ST category. Around 95 thousand candidates from Gen-EWS qualified for the exam, 3,666 from PwBD, and 303 candidates from PwD.
